The Problem

Real estate deals in India are split across classifieds, brokers, lenders, and auction houses. Property owners, buyers, and agents juggle disconnected tools to sell, rent, mortgage, auction, or trade assets — with weak listing verification and no shared system of record.

The Solution

Designed and shipped HeyBrokr as a unified SMART marketplace (Sell, Mortgage, Auction, Rent, Trade) with role-based logins for owners, brokers, agents, and service providers, verified listings, location-aware search, and a professional deal-flow mobile experience.

System Architecture

Mobile Client: Flutter cross-platform app with Clean BLoC architecture and role-aware navigation for owners, brokers, agents, and service providers

SMART Listing Engine: Single property schema supporting five transaction purposes — Sell, Mortgage, Auction, Rent, and Trade — with images, pricing, category, and locality metadata

Discovery & Search: Advanced filters by category, location, and purpose, paired with Google Maps listing pins and nearby-property lookup

Identity & Trust: Separate authentication and verified profiles for Agents, Brokers, and Service Providers to reduce fake listings

Cloud Backend: Node.js REST APIs on PostgreSQL with Firebase Auth, Cloud Storage for listing media, and FCM deal-status notifications

Key Engineering Challenges

Modeling five distinct real-estate workflows (S.M.A.R.T.) on one listing schema without exploding UI complexity or duplicating data.

Building role-based access so owners, brokers, agents, and service providers only see authorized tools, pricing, and lead pipelines.
