Govindam — Official App of Shree Govind Dev Ji Mandir
Experience the divine with Govindam, the official bilingual app of Shree Govind Dev Ji Mandir, Jaipur — live Darshan and events, temple history, real-time notifications, and secure donations for devotees worldwide.
The Problem
Devotees, scholars, tourists, pilgrims, and authorities connected to Shree Govind Dev Ji Mandir, Jaipur had no single trusted digital place for authentic temple history, darshan timings, live streams, festival calendars, and secure contributions — especially those living far from the mandir.
The Solution
Shipped Govindam as the official temple companion: a bilingual, temple-first Flutter app with live Darshan and events, darshan timings, literature and lineage, gallery, panchang planner, project and participation desks, real-time notifications, and a secure donation flow so the community can stay connected from anywhere.
System Architecture
Key Engineering Challenges
Designing a fully bilingual Hindi/English UI that stays culturally respectful across live video, literature, lineage, and donation screens.
Keeping live Darshan and event streams reliable on mid-range Android devices during peak aarti hours.
Structuring authentic temple information — timings, panchang, establishments, and legacy — so pilgrims and first-time visitors can find it without temple-staff guidance.
